Overview
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial, and self-driven Sales Representative to join our growing insurance agency. This is a commission driven opportunity with a minimum floor (you are paid the highest of the two - commission or minimum floor) designed for high-achieving individuals who want unlimited earning potential. Responsibilities
- Prospect, generate, and follow up on leads through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and agency-provided marketing channels.
- Consult with customers to identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Present and sell Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Life & Health insurance products.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Provide excellent customer service to establish long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Complete and maintain required licensing, continuing education, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, follow-ups, and closed sales in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to share best practices and contribute to a positive sales culture.
Qualifications
- Active state insurance license in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, or willingness to obtain licensing within 30 days.
- Proven sales experience required (insurance, financial services, or related field).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Comfortable with commission-only compensation and performance-based earnings.
- Basic computer literacy (CRM, email, quoting systems).
