Buffalo Pharmacies Institutional is seeking a Pharmaceutical Purchasing Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical, and cost-conscious professional with strong computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing of pharmaceuticals and related supplies for a large-scale institutional pharmacy.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing costs.
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company purchasing policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Cost-conscious mindset with the ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare purchasing preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
