What You’ll Do
As a Primary Operations Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality components using CNC equipment in our Primary Operations work cell. Your work directly supports our commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts from foam and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
- Perform offsets, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance
- Inspect parts and verify quality standards before release
- Accurately complete work orders, measurements, and production documentation
- Identify and communicate quality or process issues—and help solve them
- Monitor scrap, suggest improvements, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to improve processes and outcomes
Required Skills
- Hands-on CNC machining experience (2–3+ years preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read prints and use measuring tools with high accuracy
- Comfortable making machine adjustments (offsets, compensations, basic math)
- Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented with solid communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to doing quality work
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
