Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. The ideal candidate will bring over two years of clinical experience, demonstrating a passion for patient care, oral health education, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning.
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Manage dental documentation accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize signs of medical emergencies, providing appropriate response when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record keeping.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus, along with pediatrics-specific care skills.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during general dentistry procedures.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review for accurate billing and record management.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
