Bourn Environmental is accepting resumes for a Project Manager (min. of 4 years experience) to lead ecological restoration projects and manage new and existing client relationships.
The desired candidate’s primary responsibilities would include overseeing ecological construction projects such as stream restoration and stormwater projects, while providing guidance and support to the Site Foreman and their crew. A successful candidate will have familiarity and experience with common best management practices and erosion and sediment controls within the restoration field. Experience in ordering materials, submittals, change orders, invoicing, project close-out and dealing with on-site inspectors is essential. Additional responsibilities may include soliciting and preparing new proposals, identifying potential new clients and/ or new avenues of business utilizing personal experience and internal feedback on industry trends.
The preferred candidate will possess a B.S. in an environmental science, civil engineering, or related field (such as ecology, botany, geology, etc). Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates will have excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, knowledge and experience with Federal/State/Local environmental regulations, and work well in a team setting.
