Job Overview
we are looking for a skilled Carpenter with specific experience in roofing, window installation, and drywall repair to join our team at EcoSmart Home Services.
We are specifically looking for a professional proficient in the following areas:
- Installation of replacement windows and doors.
- Roofing experience, including both installation and repairs.
- Drywall installation, taping, and finishing repairs.
- General trim carpentry and interior/exterior finish work.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs when needed on jobsite.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welders, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with residents or team members regarding repair status or safety concerns.
- Assist with painting projects such as touch-ups on jobsite when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations within residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in carpentry,
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for coordinating projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and residents.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to hand tools and power tools.
