We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Pharmacy Technician who takes pride in accuracy, works efficiently, and enjoys being part of a close-knit, professional team.
This is not a “just fill prescriptions” job. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, and helping patients every day.
Responsibilities
Process and prepare prescriptions accurately
Enter prescription data and troubleshoot insurance claims
Answer incoming phone calls professionally
Communicate with physicians’ offices regarding refill requests and prior authorizations
Assist patients with outstanding customer service
Manage inventory, ordering, and medication organization
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all state/federal regulations
Work closely with the pharmacist to keep workflow efficient
Qualifications
Required:
Current California Pharmacy Technician License
Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Preferred:
PioneerRx experience
PTCB Certification
Experience with Medicare Part D, Medi-Cal, and commercial insurance billing
Knowledge of prior authorizations and specialty medications
