Maintenance Technician

· Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
· Maintain curb appeal at all times
· Complete all maintenance requests issued in a timely manner
· Diagnose and perform major, minor, and routine maintenance/repairs
· Ensure unit turns are timely and complete
· Schedule and complete preventive maintenance for in-unit & building systems
· Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside vendors
· Ensure safety standards are implemented at all times
· Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance calls
· All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
· HVAC Certification preferred
· 3 years+ experience in apartment maintenance or similar experience
· Self-starter who is organized and efficient
· Strong customer service skills
· Knowledge and possession of small power tools
· Frequent need to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
Other Qualifications:
· Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
· Valid driver's license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
