Job Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team. We specialize in commercial projects, including office buildings, restaurants, and medical facilities, with occasional residential jobs. The ideal candidate will have experience in diverse settings, their own vehicle and hand tools, and be willing to travel primarily around Northern Colorado, Denver area and occasionally out of state. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
- Build walls, doorways, staircases and other parts of a building structure by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
Skills/Qualifications: 2+ years experience in rough carpentry (framing, siding, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of power tools
- Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
- Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Regular attendance and punctuality to all job sites
