We are a premier, woman-owned boutique garden care company seeking a dependable and skilled Estate Gardener to join our team on a part-time basis, with additional hours available during peak seasons. We specialize exclusively in the care and cultivation of garden spaces. We cultivate relationships with our clients and their properties. The Ideal Candidate:
· Currently looking for: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday schedule
· Stable & Dependable: You are looking for a consistent role with a company that values reliability.
· Physically Capable: Able to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor while bending, crouching, and kneeling throughout the day.
· Climate Adaptable: You are comfortable and prepared to work in Colorado's diverse weather, from morning chill to afternoon heat.
· Detail-Oriented: You possess a refined eye for aesthetics. You see a garden as a living canvas and take pride in achieving pristine, manicured results.
· Professional: You understand the importance of composure and professionalism when working on private estates. You are self-sufficient, trustworthy, and require minimal supervision.
· Licensed & Insured: Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
Core Responsibilities:
· Perform skilled pruning, shaping, and trimming of shrubs, ornamentals, and hedges.
· Manage the health of gardens through planting, weeding, mulching, and soil cultivation.
· Plant, cultivate, and maintain annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs.
· Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency.
· Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools and garden equipment.
· Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of garden areas and tools.
· Assist in the execution of high-end garden enhancement projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
· 1-2 years of proven experience in residential gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a genuine love for plants.
· Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation required.
· Available to work full days on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays though October
Bonus if you have:
· Solid plant knowledge and the ability to identify species and understand their specific care requirements
· Proficiency with gardening hand tools and standard garden equipment
· Experience with irrigation troubleshooting and repair
· A collaborative spirit with the ability to follow garden plans and communicate effectively
