Overview
We are seeking 1 dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and time management.
Duties
- Operate and drive mainly Dry Van. Possible Reefer loads if you are experienced.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Must be able to stay out for 3-4 weeks
Experience
- Minimum of 2 Years of CDL driving experience is required
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various terrains is essential.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving is necessary.
- Ability to work as a team and independently while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
