Shawnee Health is seeking a Clinical Social Services Director for our Shawnee Alliance Office. This position reports directly to the Chief Director of Social Services.
Start· Implements program enhancements and recommends procedural changes to improve the service delivery system. Identifies areas for process improvement and implements changes to improve efficiency, workflow and productivity. Serves on process improvement work groups.
Education & Experience Requirements:
A. Mandatory:
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or other related human service field.
Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist.
3-5 years counseling experience.
3-5 years of program development, management and supervision experience.
Competency Requirements:
A. Mandatory:
Must be competent in the use of computers including use of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be sensitive to and aware of the special life conditions of patients.
Must have networking skills and ability to work with staff at other agencies.
Must be skilled in mediation/negotiation and have knowledge of group dynamics and family dynamics.
Must have the ability to maintain client and employee confidentiality.
Must be capable of high level of discretion in handling confidential information.
Must be capable of independent, discretionary problem solving with minimal supervision.
Ensures HIPAA regulations are being followed.
Must have training in a recognized performance improvement model.
B. Preferred:
Familiarity with community and government health and social services.

Full-time employee benefits include:

Starting Salary-$78,320-$117,480
