Job Summary:
A Site Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and executing all activities related to operating a successful tire collection facility. This is a hands-on position working side by side with the site team.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees while complying with safety and environmental regulations.

Create the right cultural atmosphere to maximize employee performance, lead by example, and spend the required amount of time to drive results.

Oversee all site operations including developing and optimizing tire collection routes, conducting daily safety meetings and fleet deployment, tire handling, fleet maintenance, and delivering best-in-class customer service.

Manage and assist with counting, unloading, loading, and lacing of waste and grade tires daily to ensure all tires are accounted for and shipped to the proper locations for further processing.

Surpass financial targets by driving operational efficiencies (labor, asset utilization, tire handling).

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, personnel development, transportation, and tire handling.

Execute an effective preventative maintenance program that ensures the site fleet operates safely and compliant.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in related leadership roles required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines preferred.

Experience working within an established transportation company and familiarity with FMCSA guidelines.
