Job Title: Automotive Service Technician (Oil Change & Tire Services) Summary: The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, completing 109-point inspections, and performing light repairs such as battery and wiper blade replacements on rental fleet vehicles. The technician will ensure all services are completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company and safety standards. Pre-Interview Requirements: To be considered for an interview, the applicant must: Have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience performing oil changes and mounting/balancing tires. Submit pictures of personal oil change tools and socket sets prior to interview scheduling. Be able to provide proof of valid driver’s license and any related certifications or documentation upon request. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform oil and filter changes on various vehicle makes and models. Mount and balance tires using proper equipment and safety protocols. Conduct 109-point vehicle inspections and record results accurately. Perform light repairs limited to battery and wiper blade replacements. Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to supervisors. Keep work areas organized, safe, and compliant with company standards. --- Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in oil changes and tire services. Proficiency in using standard automotive service tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Reliable transportation and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with rental or fleet vehicle maintenance. Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules. ASE or equivalent certifications (optional but preferred).
