Overview
We are looking for a fun, personable, and outgoing barista to join our team!! Sonder Coffee Lounge was designed to feel like your best friends cozy living room, with an intention of creating a real sense of community amongst our people. As a barista, you will be key in creating an amazing experience for anyone who walks through our doors. Going the extra mile to make recommendations for first timers, remembering the names of repeat patrons, and taking the time to connect with each customer, are things we love to see. Sonder is here to build relationships, and that goes beyond basic barista skills. We are definitely looking for someone who can grow with us, enjoys the art of making delicious coffee, and can help us create an experience that will keep people coming back for more.
Requirements
- Must be a people person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others and BUILDING a relationships.
- Must be able to multitask really well. Phone is ringing, someone new just walked in, and you’re in the middle of making three iced lattes all at the same time…can you handle it WHILE continuing to give amazing service?
- Must be a team player.
- Experience in food service is required. We would prefer coffee experience but are willing to train the right person.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
