Job Summary
Seeking a passionate and skilled Acupuncturist/Herbalist to join our growing team. Provide professional acupuncture treatments independently within a wellness boutique setting, creating personalized treatment plans to support clients' health and wellness goals. Maintain accurate client records, ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, and build strong client relationships while collaborating with other wellness practitioners to deliver a holistic care experience. Responsibilities
- Perform acupuncture treatments targeting various conditions.
- Utilize trigger point therapy and other manual techniques to alleviate muscle tension and pain.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis, physiology knowledge, and clinical findings.
- Incorporate herbal medicine techniques and remedies into treatment protocols to support healing and wellness a plus.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, or physical therapists to optimize patient care strategies.
- Ensure aseptic technique during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Educate patients on self-care practices, including lifestyle modifications and herbal remedies, fostering ongoing health improvement.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in pain management with acupuncture and trigger point therapy preferred.
- Strong background in healthcare diagnosis, physical examinations, and client communication skills.
- Herbalist certification a plus.
- Prior experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- HIPPA compliant.
- Valid license to practice acupuncture in the state of NY. Herbalist certification according to local regulatory requirements is required.
