General Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on plant tools/equipment and facility mechanical and electrical systems.
- Maintains HVAC systems Perform tool and equipment repairs to support manufacturing

Perform general facility maintenance and repairs for building and grounds
-
Perform minor repairs on building structures, doors, locks, windows, and walls (including drywall and painting).

Manage contractors (including monitoring and coordinating PM schedules) for the HVAC, elevator, security and associated equipment
- systems and other facility equipment/systems

Manage the custodial needs of the building including all janitorial duties and trash/scrap removal

Respond to emergencies- serving as the primary contact for all facility related emergencies
- Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinance and codes

Maintain the plans for fire evacuation, disaster response, up-to-date records for all state, federal and insurance inspections, warranties, maintenance requirements, etc.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance. The employee will frequently lift and/or move 45-50 pounds and may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:

A thorough knowledge of general maintenance along with a skill set that includes basic proficiencies in some or all of the following: plumbing, HVAC, electrical/mechanical systems, carpentry
- Working knowledge of power tools, diagnostic equipment, and blueprint reading. Strong troubleshooting skills in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative

Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) is preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills are essential

Aptitude for organizing tasks, managing time and prioritizing projects
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
5 - 7 years of related experience and/or training
