Hire Impact Recruiting is seeking an experienced Business Contact (BC) / Linehaul Operations Manager to oversee daily FedEx Ground linehaul and P&D spot operations in the St. Louis, MO market.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment and understands that great operations require strong communication, accountability, and a willingness to lead by example.

Position Responsibilities
- Manage daily FedEx Ground linehaul operations
- Coordinate P&D spot moves and equipment assignments
- Lead, coach, and support CDL drivers
- Ensure service commitments are met safely and efficiently
- Communicate with FedEx Ground regarding service updates and recovery plans
- Coordinate maintenance and equipment availability
- Monitor DOT compliance, HOS, DVIRs, and driver qualifications
- Respond to operational issues including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Assist with driving linehaul routes when operational coverage requires it
Qualifications
- Previous FedEx Ground, Linehaul, LTL, or time-sensitive trucking operations experience preferred
- Leadership or Business Contact experience strongly preferred
- Valid Class A CDL
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, HOS, and fleet operations
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment

Schedule
- Full-time
- Nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as needed
