Here at Community Connections, we work directly with Adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Our company provides multiple services for these individuals, including Day services, Residential Habilitation and Job Coaching.
Our Adult Day Program brings clients in Monday thru Friday to work on daily living skills, in a group environment. Each staff has up to 6 clients on their workload when in the center, and 3 in the community. The group, as a whole, spends half of their week in the day center, and half of their week out in the community.
- In the community, we do things such as visiting the Discovery center, the aquarium, local libraries, shop at thrift stores, enjoy lunch at local restaurants and more! Every day is a new adventure.
- In the day center, we run programs such as cooking groups, art projects, board games battles, homing in on computer skill, and socialization. This is a positive and productive environment which provides timely support and variety to your week.
This position requires the ability to encourage clients and staff to participate, requires leadership ability, creativity, and top notch communication skills. You must have experience working with people with disabilities, and the desire to be a leader.
The program runs M-F from 9-3; however, we offer hours in multiple programs, enabling our staff to work more hours throughout the week if desired.

- First Aid and CPR - we can certify you
- Must be willing to help with personal care; toileting, changing, lifting etc.
