Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on site management with strategic project oversight, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate all aspects of construction site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce management.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Manage project documentation such as contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports.
- Utilize construction management software and project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and HeavyBid to develop detailed project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections using Civil 3D and other relevant tools to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate closely with project teams including engineers, architects, clients, and <PERSON> (a placeholder for key stakeholders) to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Implement safety procedures in compliance with OSHA standards and promote a culture of safety on all sites.
- Manage change orders, contracts, and scope adjustments efficiently while maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software platforms.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent project scheduling capabilities with experience using Primavera P6 or similar tools to develop realistic timelines.
- Strong knowledge of contracts law related to construction projects including change orders and scope management.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams across multiple disciplines while maintaining clarity on project goals.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Pay: $72,374.09 - $87,160.19 per year
