We are a scratch kitchen.
Yuja Kitchen is a fast/casual dine-in and take away restaurant recently opened in San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a cook to join us in making delicious Asian American food. While this position can sometimes be demanding as you are running a shift by yourself with a backup for prep, the opportunity you have here at Yuja can be a wonderful and rewarding experience with lots of room to grow. We look forward to hiring an experienced, fun loving cook who wants a chance to be apart of a restaurant from the ground up.
Here at Yuja, we want to promote the fact that this is one, cohesive restuarant where there is no divide between front of house and back of house culture. Our front on house workers can help out in the kitchen, and vice versa. This really helps to maintain a line of communication and understanding of Yuja standards.
Location: Our kitchen is located in San Francisco, CA at 396 Harrison St.

Description:
- Opening and closing shift duties
- Food preparation
- Follow standardized recipes and portion size
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation during and after shifts
- Must be fluent in English

Schedule:
- 8am-3pm Mon-Sat
- 3pm-9pm Mon-Sat
- Sundays OFF (We are looking for cooks who can work weekends so that we can eventually open our restuarant on Sundays!)
