Java Earth Coffee has been operating as a Family Owned Coffee Shop in North Pacific Beach for over 10 years and a second location in La Jolla and are looking for a friendly Barista!
We take pride in our community and TEAM. We are looking for an attentive Barista to join our fun lively team. Our fast-paced establishment offers hand-crafted lattes, cold brew, smoothies, breakfast, and lunch. This role is responsible for creating an incredible experience for all guests by providing them with excellent customer service, quality beverages and food products, and ensuring the cafe is a clean and sanitary environment for all customers.
Duties & Responsibilities: Welcoming customers, accepting orders and payments. Preparing lattes, iced drinks, brewing coffee and tea Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils. Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques Working in as part of a fun, high-energy team. Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Requirements: Excellent Customer Service Strong communication Strong organizational skills Ability to manage stress and multi-task Effective time management Hourly wage plus great tips!! Priority given to those with open/weekend availability.
