Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Assist in merchandising products on the sales floor to create appealing displays.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Maintain stock levels by replenishing merchandise and organizing inventory.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve overall sales performance.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Uphold store standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
