The Penfield Place is seeking cheerful and engaging new member for our front office team as a receptionist. We are looking for an individual for this role to fulfill a Full-Time role.
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00pm
This integral team member will need a high level of customer service and will be working directly under the Business Office Manager and in partnership with the other core departments within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Typing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook for calendar management and meeting notices
- Must have knowledge of drafting a formal business letter
- Strong organizational skills required
- Must understand electronic file management and directions
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to organize data into Excel spreadsheet
- Ability to process cash handling
Job Functions:
- Assist Management in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing all duties as assigned
- Act as a liaison to management and other staff as needed
- Prepare conference room for meetings
- Greet and direct visitors accordingly
- Answer phones
- Data Entry
- Ability to balance cash boxes
- Ability to scan and inputting files into the computer or into our Electronic Medical Records system
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and talk and listen. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job require close vision.
