Day Shift – Medical Equipment Assembly Technician
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail- orientated Medical Machine Assembly Technician to join our team in St. George, UT. This position is responsible for assembling specialized medical equipment and machines while following technical instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with hand and power tools, and the ability to work with electrical components and hardware.
What You'll Do
- Must perform all required electro-mechanical, mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies through all assembly levels using engineering drawings, schematics , BOMs, work instruction and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Ability to read and follow POD production order descriptions to assemble finished product
- Ability to analyze mechanical and operational aspect of tools and equipment use to assemble product
- Ability to identify and gather parts required for the project
- Ability to install complex wiring per schematic requirement without supervision.
- Ability to build complex electrical assemblies and perform soldering functions
- Ability to produce fixtures and tools improve production performance
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify problems and generate ECRs engineering change requests to make corrections.
- Ability to implement corrective actions to improve assembly reliability
- Ability to download and program software to IC chips or PLCs
- Ability to write documentation of processes and procedures
- Maintain all records and documentation on builds
- Ability to work directly with Application to trouble shoot and repair on warranty products

- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school experience preferred
Experience:
- 2-4 years of related experience preferred
Skills:
- Ability to read and write English
- Able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances utilizing micrometers & calipers
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a working knowledge with Microsoft Office
Schedule & Shift
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay & Compensation
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
