Property Accountant (Commercial Real Estate)
Full - Time, Hybrid
Our client is seeking a Property Accountant to manage financial reporting and accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties, including office, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality assets within a third-party ownership portfolio. This is a highly collaborative role reporting to the Assistant Controller, with strong visibility across property management, ownership and internal leadership.

Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant

Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial statements for assigned properties

Perform general ledger analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules

Ensure financials are accurate and ready for distribution to ownership groups
Qualifications for the Property Accountant

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
-
3+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry

Experience with commercial, mixed use or residential property accounting

Strong Excel skills
