Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
- Document patient observations accurately, report concerns promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia care
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist with transfers or mobility support
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid certifications in CPR and first aid;
