Richardson Electrical is seeking a highly motivated Estimator to prepare cost estimates, develop proposals, and accurate quotes to aid management in bidding on or determining price of products and/or services. As an estimator you will be responsible for consulting with clients and vendors and analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare materials, equipment, and labor cost estimates. In addition you will be responsible for conferring with engineers, architects, owners, and other contractors on changes to cost estimates and in preparing change order proposals.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of estimating and/or field experience with industrial and commercial electrical construction and design+build projects; proficiency in Mircosoft Office; good written and oral communication skills; strong analytic and mathematical skills; must be able to interpret sketches, drawings, and specifications; AutoCAD and/or Con Est experience a plus.
