Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Sterilization Assistant to join our team! As a Sterilization Assistant, you will help provide proper sterilization instruments for the Orthodontist. You will provide assistance to the orthodontist and the orthodontic assistants during exams and procedures and help complete administrative tasks such as orthodontic records uploading. The ideal candidate has an associate's degree from a certified school and previous experience and speak spanish as a second language, and computer literate. We will train the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the orthodontist for exams and procedures
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
- Breaks down treatment rooms and prepares for incoming patients
- Knows how to read orthodontic treatment and anticipates patient appointments
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Some administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
