Shop Technician – Virginia, MN
Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Shop Technician to join its team at its Component Rebuild Center - Virginia, MN location. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing Komatsu Haul Trucks, rebuilding their components and repairing multiple lines of dewatering pumps.

Responsibilities:
-
Rebuilding various components primarily for mining haul trucks and other components as assigned.
-
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair to various types of mobile equipment hydraulic systems.

Perform routine maintenance / repairs on Komatsu Haul Trucks.
Qualifications/Skills:
-
Technical or Associates in Diesel Engine Repair or Automotive Technician Diploma

Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of DC electrical troubleshooting process and operation.

Knowledge of basic hydraulic system structure, function, and operation.

Knowledge of basic diesel engine operation and aftertreatment structure, function and operation.

Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.

Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.

Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
Minimum Physical Requirements:

Push/pull up to 50 lbs

Lift/carry up to 60 lbs

Lift bulky objects

Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, high steps, fingering/grasping.

Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
