Project Coordinating Engineer
Location: Mid-Atlantic / Northeast (travel to jobsites as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Occasional early mornings and/or late evenings may be required based on project needs.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinating Engineer to support our Project Managers in coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, motivated, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing construction projects through all phases
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Track project schedules, budgets, and progress
- Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation
- Maintain organized and accurate project records
- Support material and equipment procurement
- Attend jobsite meetings and assist with day-to-day project operations
- Ensure projects are completed safely and in accordance with plans and specifications
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Assist Project Managers with administrative and field coordination as needed
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of construction project coordination, project engineering, or construction management experience required
- Professional references are required
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with construction takeoff software is REQUIRED, including experience with one or more of the following: PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), STACK, Agtek, or HCSS
- Experience using Procore construction management software is preferred
- Concrete construction experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, estimating, and quantity takeoffs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
