Seneca Landfill, Inc. is seeking a welder/fabricator to repair vehicle bodies and fabricate steel and aluminum components for both trucks and equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safe use of mig and arc welding equipment and other fabricating machines to cut and manufacture patches or repair areas on containers or trucks.
- Must comply with all company policies, laws, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year welding experience or Welding Technician diploma.
- Experience with a plasma torch as well as mig and arc welding equipment preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, and push/pull required.
- Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50-75 lbs. for short distances.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
