Duties
- Develop and implement community outreach strategies that align with organizational goals
- Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers
- Organize and lead public speaking engagements, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about our programs
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, local agencies, schools, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate marketing efforts through social media management, promotional events, and community campaigns
- Collect and analyze data on outreach activities to measure impact and improve future initiatives
- Oversee program development projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery and community relevance
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams or programs
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Background in program development, project management, or social work
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media platforms for community engagement
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting to evaluate outreach success
- Familiarity with addiction counseling or public health initiatives is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in recruiting and training volunteers or staff
- Excellent organizational skills with administrative experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to teach or facilitate workshops effectively in various settings
