Custodian works a 30- 40 hour week - option of night or day shifts, Monday- Friday with optional weekend shifts.
Custodian is expected to do basic duties. There are kitchens, classrooms, stairs, stairwells, hallways, bathrooms and common rooms to sweep, mop and sanitize. There is furniture to move for events as well.
If qualified, custodian may be asked to do some maintenance and repair work that is needed in the facility.

Clean and replenish restrooms, clean dishes and pots in Kitchens

Empty trash and recycle bins

Clean desks, clean student meal and recreation areas

Vacuum offices, sanctuary and common areas

Clean interior glass and drinking fountains

Dust partitions, cabinets and vents

Mop floors in classrooms, common areas and stairwells

Clean and shine stainless steel

Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.

Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ability to read and comprehend safety material and facility required documents.
