Virellis Staffing Group LLC. is building a pool of Guardian-certified security professionals with management experience to present to a client organization for an upcoming Field Manager opportunity in the Tampa Bay area. Candidates who meet client requirements may be presented for placement based on certification, experience, and licensing.
This role is suited for experienced security or law enforcement professionals ready to step into a leadership position overseeing officers across multiple high-profile client sites.
What the Role May Involve
- Overseeing security operations across an assortment of client sites to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors
- Training, coaching, and mentoring security officers in the field
- Managing conflict resolution and responding promptly to incidents
- Providing first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Preparing detailed reports on incidents and maintaining accurate site and officer documentation
- Managing timesheets and submitting them for approval
- Interviewing candidates and conducting onboarding briefings
- Supporting client relationships across diverse account types, including schools, executive protection, and financial institutions
What We're Looking For
- Active Guardian certification under Florida's Coach Aaron Feis Guardian Program
- Florida D and G Security Licenses, held at time of placement
- Two or more years of management experience in a security environment; law enforcement or military experience preferred
- Two or more years of armed security officer experience if the candidate does not have law enforcement or military background
- Own firearm, equipment, and reliable transportation
- Strong report-writing skills and proficiency with security-related electronics
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Strong observation skills and ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure
- Conscientious, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Clean background, consistent with client eligibility requirements
