Job Title: Team Lead – Manufacturing

Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Team Lead – Manufacturing is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the P&A Operators and act as a liaison between team members and the Production Supervisor.
Essential Functions:

Assists the Training Line Lead in training to ensure employees know, understand, and adhere to Manufacturing procedures to include IQMS processes and proper use of scan guns.

Complete hands-on training checklists for new hires and ensure machine operators complete daily cleaning checklists.

Prioritize work including machine assignments and assist with operating machines when necessary.

Ensure employees are working safely, accurately, and complete work in a timely manner.

Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.

Provide instruction, follow-up to ensure work is completed, and give feedback as needed.

Report issues to Supervisor in personnel, maintenance, production, etc.

Assist other departments or teams as needed to ensure the success of the company operations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Must be detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Previous stand-up forklift experience preferred.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally, ability to stack products above head, ability to stand and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
Competencies:

Education: High school Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Must have leadership skills, previous team lead experience preferred.
