Central Tube & Bar is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team in Conway, Arkansas. This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and offers the opportunity to work alongside engineering and production teams on projects focused on process improvement, efficiency, quality, and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with process improvement and continuous improvement projects
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data.
- Support manufacturing operations by identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Assist with creating and updating work instructions, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities.
- Support equipment, tooling, and production-related projects.
- Maintain engineering records, reports, and project documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
