Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team. This role involves educating children, mentoring them in their academic journeys, and providing tailored support to meet diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Model the Catholic faith through personal witness, prayer, and participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach practical computer science topics such as typing, sending emails, terminology, using Microsoft Suite.
- Provide instruction in cybersecurity and safe Internet usage.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Manage student behavior effectively, using school-wide discipline policies and individual behavior plans as needed.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot classroom technology, software, and hardware.
- Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, and bus duty.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, extracurricular activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the school administration to support school operations and student safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous teaching experience, preferred
Preferred Skills
- Ability to recommend tools and platforms for instruction and learning.
- Ability to collaborate with peers on interdisciplinary projects or tech initiatives.
- Willingness to supervise student clubs (e.g., coding club, robotics).
