Job Summary
Halcyon Management is looking for an highly experienced Maintenance Technician to join our incredible team. We are seeking an experienced, talented, ambitious, and growth-oriented employee to fill this position in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. Individual will be responsible for the maintenance and service issues at The Perch on Lake apartments. The goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, property efficiency, tenant quality of life, and teamwork.
This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs, and customer service skills to effectively address maintenance issues. HVAC is a plus.
Duties
- Completing maintenance work orders. Must be knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance troubleshooting and repair, carpentry, drywall patching and repair, and other general maintenance tasks as they arise.
- Communicating with the Manager, resident, vendors and working closely with team members to complete service requests and unit make-readies in a timely fashion with high-quality craftsmanship.
- Participating in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Maintaining the property shop in an organized manner.
- Sharing your knowledge with coworkers and assisting each other when challenges arise.
- Going above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
- Managing your time wisely.
- Anticipating problems that residents may have before they even occur.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and materials used.
- Ability to update work completed using a software program
