American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a night shift travel position requiring a CO or compact RN license and TNCC/CPI certification.

Hospital-based Emergency Department, converted from a freestanding ED, with 18 beds
-
Staffed with 3-5 RNs per shift depending on day, mid, and night shift coverage
-
Patient ratios vary by acuity, typically 4:1
-
Uses LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE equipment
-
Charts in Meditech EMR
-
Performs procedures including IV insertion, EKG, foley catheters, splinting, wound care, wound infiltration, medication administration, and patient assessments
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
13-week assignment length
-
On-site access to respiratory therapy, house supervisor, full lab services, and radiology including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and ultrasound

Active RN license, CO state or compact required
-
Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC

CPI Blue Card required

Experience in a large hospital setting preferred

Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
