Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative to sell luxury residential and commercial pools, spas, and water features. This role combines consultative selling, territory development, and relationship management with architects, builders, developers, and high-net-worth homeowners. The ideal candidate understands high-end construction processes, delivers exceptional client experiences, and closes complex, design-forward projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, design/build partnerships, architects, builders, developers, and targeted prospecting in the Austin/Hill Country market.
- Conduct on-site consultations and needs assessments with homeowners, property managers, commercial clients, and design teams; present design concepts, budgets, timelines, and value propositions.
- Prepare professional proposals, estimates, and contracts; negotiate terms and close sales while protecting margin and company standards.
- Collaborate with design, construction, permitting, and project management teams to ensure seamless handoff and client satisfaction through project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, landscape designers, general contractors, real estate agents, and municipal/commercial decision-makers.
- Stay current on luxury pool design trends, materials, equipment (automation, heaters, filtration), sustainability/energy-efficient systems, and local code/permitting requirements.
- Attend sales meetings, trade shows, industry events, and client presentations; maintain CRM with accurate pipeline, forecasting, and follow-up activities.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2C or B2B sales experience in luxury pools, outdoor living, landscape architecture, high-end construction, or related industries.
- Proven track record closing high-value projects ($50K+ residential; larger for commercial).
- Familiarity with pool construction processes, equipment, permitting, and typical project timelines.
- Strong network or demonstrated ability to build referral channels with builders, architects, and designers.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel throughout Austin and Hill Country; flexible schedule to meet client availability.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office; experience with proposal software preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- Experience selling to commercial clients (HOAs, hotels, municipalities).
- Understanding of energy-efficient systems, automation, and water-conservation best practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
