Job Summary:
The remote Systems Analyst is a detailed oriented and analytical role that will evaluate, design, and implement IT systems that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions, ensuring software and infrastructure systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Persons in this role utilize technical, interpersonal, and administrative skills in performing day-to-day work, interacting with team members, developers, end-users, management, service providers, and vendors to maximize performance, stability, and uptime of multiple systems.
Essential Job Duties:
- Support of project teams following best practices throughout the enterprise for all types of analytic and enterprise applications.
- Analyze and evaluate current systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, observations, and workflow analysis.
- Design and recommend IT system modifications, configurations, or upgrades.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure proposed solutions meet requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Test system functionality and assist with QA/UAT efforts before deployment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues post-implementation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the implementation, operations, development, and maintenance of IT systems on-prem, hybrid, and cloud based.
- Highly proficient understanding of design, implementation, and sustainment activities of Information Technology systems.
- Experience with change management, problem management, release management, configuration management, and software lifecycle management.
- Has a strong understanding in MS Windows environments and core business applications.
- Ability to develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving light to medium complex business problems.
- Ability to automate tasks and document them for others to use.
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve system performance problems or outages.
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs.
- Experience in project management techniques and the ability to lead projects to a timely successful outcome.
- Have strong skills to project and forecast time allocation for project completion.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and all levels of management in both verbal and written communication.
- Must be able to effectively work in distributed enterprise work environment.
Required Technical Skills:
- 2+ years managing and administering one of the following platforms (or similar):
- Demonstrated experience working on the following operating system platforms:
- MS Windows
- Salesforce Field Service (FSM)
- custom/native integrations
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or Greenplum).
- Knowledge and experience working with Cloud based ERP/CRM/WMS system (Epicor, Salesforce, etc)
- Knowledge and experience working with analytical reporting tools (Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau)
- Knowledge and experience supporting systems hosted within Cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).

Pay Range:
- $90,000 - $110,000 annually
