Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate mobile devices, accessories, and related products to highlight features and benefits effectively
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling procedures
- Upsell additional products and services by understanding customer preferences and offering tailored recommendations
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maximize visual appeal
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, explaining product features, and maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Conduct product demos confidently in bilingual settings to serve diverse customer bases and enhance overall shopping experience
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in wireless or electronics environments
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to guide team members and ensure smooth store operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling is essential for daily transactions
- Strong communication skills are vital for engaging customers effectively and delivering clear product explanations
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and grocery store experience can be advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer demographic effectively
- Experience in phone etiquette, upselling strategies, retail sales transactions, basic math skills, cashiering duties, stock management, and customer service will set you up for success in this energetic role
