Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and labor-intensive projects. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, has a passion for craftsmanship, and possesses the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter/Laborer will be involved in a variety of construction and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Monday through Friday. 7:30AM-4:30PM. Bilingual in Spanish encouraged to apply, not required.
Duties
- Perform carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, and cabinet installation.
- Assist in concrete forming and pouring for foundations and structures.
- Execute caulking and sealing tasks to ensure proper insulation and finish.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall, maintenance person services, concrete forming, caulking, and remodeling techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
