- Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and precision, ensuring comfort for young patients.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and treatment efficiency.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental for scheduling, charting, and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
- Experience with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging tools.
- Ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and anesthesiology techniques for patient comfort.
