This role involves both manual and clerical tasks related to the operation of the marina and dockage facility. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service by collecting fees and assisting with marina berth contracts. The Marina Attendant is also responsible for daily maintenance of dockage areas, which includes removing garbage and debris, as well as pressure washing the marina and boat ramp areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)-approved Boater Safety Course referred to in the Minimum Qualifications provides foundational knowledge of safe boating practices and marina operations relevant to the role. Completion of this course results in issuance of a Boating Safety Education Identification Card.
