We are seeking a talented Architectural Standards Specialist bringing expertise to our architectural detailing, digital design standards, templates, content libraries, and documentation across Revit, and related platforms. This role plays a critical part in shaping and maintaining the tools that support project delivery across the firm.
The primary responsibility of this role is developing, drafting, organizing, and maintaining standard details in Revit under the direction of Technical Directors and Managers. While coordination with BIM leadership, technical directors and managers, and internal committees is expected, day-to-day responsibilities are to be completed independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, draft, document, and maintain firmwide architectural standard details in Revit in collaboration with Technical Directors and Managers.
- Maintain and evolve Revit family libraries, templates, BIM standards, view/print standards, and version control processes.
- Lead governance of Revit family standards, including naming conventions, metadata structures, and classification systems.
- Manage standards documentation, including logs tracking changes.
- Coordinate with the Technical Directors/Managers and BIM/CAD Manager to align strategic updates and standards direction.
- Facilitate content migration efforts with minimal disruption to project teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years utilizing BIM as an architect/architectural designer preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- Licensed architect preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and governing construction detailing standards along with Revit templates and content libraries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clear documentation.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize work and manage concurrent initiatives independently.
- Familiarity with Pirros or similar enterprise content management platforms.
- Multi-disciplinary firm experience is preferred.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $115,000
