Our client is a growing leader in innovative interior construction solutions and is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its presence throughout the St. Louis and Southern Illinois market.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on networking, developing strategic partnerships, and influencing projects from the earliest stages of design through project award.
What You'll Do
As the Business Development Manager, you will:
- Build and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, owners, developers, general contractors, commercial real estate brokers, and other industry professionals.
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing commercial construction projects throughout the territory.
- Influence projects early in the design process and help drive specifications for innovative interior construction solutions.
- Deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations to educate clients on industry-leading solutions.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry organizations, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with internal design, estimating, and project teams to successfully move opportunities from concept to completion.
- Become a trusted resource within the design and construction community.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing relationships and creating new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business development, outside sales, or account management experience.
- Experience within commercial furniture, architectural products, commercial interiors, construction, healthcare, building products, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term client relationships.
- Experience working with architects, designers, contractors, developers, or commercial real estate professionals is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
