- Make sure the lounge and cafe are wiped down and clean between reservations.
- Cat Care & Welfare
- Provide daily care for the resident cats, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, grooming, and enrichment activities.
- Monitor cat health and behavior, and promptly report any concerns to the Cafe Manager or Operations Director.

- Operations in Absence of Manager
- Act as the primary point of contact and lead the shift when the Cafe Manager is not present.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure cafe cleanliness, food safety standards, and overall smooth operations.
- Volunteer Management
- Direct and supervise volunteers during shifts.
- Assign tasks, provide on-the-spot guidance, and ensure volunteers follow proper procedures for customer service and cat care.
- Support volunteer onboarding and training as directed by the Manager.
- Systems & Administrative Tasks
- Use cafe systems proficiently, including the reservation system, point-of-sale (POS) system, and inventory tracking tools.
- Assist with basic inventory checks and report low stock to the Manager.
- Complete shift reports and incident logs as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, cafes, restaurants, or animal care settings is preferred.
