Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies usage, and equipment maintenance for accountability and quality assurance.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper safety techniques to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with residents or clients to understand specific cleaning needs or preferences.
- Use janitorial tools and cleaning equipment skillfully while adhering to safety protocols for outdoor work environments when necessary.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and customer service standards. Willing to train the perfect candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices is essential for delivering top-quality service.
- Experience with various cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and janitorial supplies ensures efficient task completion.
- Strong time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and outdoor work when required.
